DWH “TeraData” Training Course
Baltic Technology Group’s DWH technologies team and our Training Department have developed a unique BTG internal DWH “TeraData” training course that can quickly expand our capabilities.
The three stage training course is based on materials available from NCR TeraData and Microsoft. Training program includes:
- Training materials
- Practical tasks
- QA sessions with BTG DWH experts
DWH Teradata training Program
DWH Training Program consists of two main parts. The first part is theoretical introduction with DWH technology and specially with Teradata DWH and ETL process.
The second part is hands on training – Data loading and transformation
During the both parts there are QA sessions with BTG DWH experts. The training program can be modified according to client needs and timing.
Stage 1: Introduction with DWH Technology
- DWH overview
- Teradata overview
- ETL process overview
- Duration - 1 week
Stage 2: Data Loading and Transformation
- Data loading from source DB to Teradata
- Teradata loading utilities
- Development of ETL packages using MS DTS tool
- Data transformation according to LDM of DWH
- Duration - 2 weeks
