AB Suite & EAE(LINC) Developer Training
BTG has developed an extensive LINC (EAE, EAD), AB Suite and financial application training program utilizing BTG's 15 years of LINC experience and expertise in financial system development. The goal of the programs is:
- To provide training on advanced LINC programming skills, including the complete development cycle
- To provide theoretical and practical retail banking training
- To teach specific BTG client LINC applications
The BTG LINC Developer Training Program includes 3 LINC courses, 1 Retail Banking and 1 client application course. All 3 LINC courses and the Retail Banking course are mandatory for all new developers. Experienced BTG LINC specialists teach all courses. The training program can be modified according to client needs and timing.
1. AB Suite Development Course
- Based on Unisys Student Workbook Release 1.0 (4725 9197 – 000)
- Programming basics
- Duration - 2 weeks
- Course given during interview process
- Results - key to hiring decisions
2. Introduction to Practical AB Suite
- Introduces commonly used AB Suite development techniques and system standards
- Duration - 1 week
3. Extended Training in Retail Banking Environment
- Hands on development experience
- Uses BTG proprietary retail banking system
- Problem solving, live development environment
- Duration - 6 weeks
4. Retail Banking Basics
- Banking principles, operations, and terminology covered
- Duration - 2 weeks
5. Client Application Training Course
Example: UFSS Mortgages Module course
- Mortgage banking principles
- Components of UFSS mortgage module covered
- Tips for working with UFSS from BTG project experience
- Duration - 3 weeks
- Hands on training - UFSS application fault fixing
- Duration – 4 weeks
