History 

BTG Systems, Inc., based in Michigan and its affiliate, Baltic Technology Group in Riga, Latvia, were established in May, 1991. We have been providing contract services to our clients in the U.S. and Europe, especially EAE (LINC) design and development services for Unisys and Unisys clients.

Our focus has been on developing and supporting administrative and transaction processing applications for financial, manufacturing and government industries.

BTG staff have designed and developed a retail banking software package specially to meet the unique requirements of banks in the local Baltic market. This package has been installed in banks in Latvia. In addition, we have developed solutions for Internet banking and Mobile banking, as well as various software development tools.

BTG is a private U.S. company, which was founded by Dagnija D. Lacis in 1991, who is the company's President and CEO.

Andris Lacis serves as Executive Vice-President bringing to BTG many years of experience from serving in executive positions in Sales and Research and Development at major worldwide manufacturing corporations.

Michael A. Kovacs is Vice-President with responsibility for promotion and sales of technical services. Ms. Lacis and Mr. Kovacs each have more than 30 years experience in the computer industry, including more than 25 years each with Burroughs and Unisys Corporations.

Ed Lacis is Vice-President of Business Development with responsibility for growing client relationships, developng new strategic and operational initiatives, and synchronizing BTG Systems and Baltic Technology Group operations.
